Introducing our fabulous food & drink vendors

Gain free access into Kirstenbosch Gardens (Gate 2) from 6pm on presentation of your movie ticket and enter the Marquee Lawn area where movies are shown. Here, a number of local food vendors offer fresh, regional produce to tantalise all taste buds. From sandwiches to salads, pies and paellas, there is something for everyone. And if all you want is a big bucket of popcorn and coke, well… we have that too!

Gusto

GUSTO is a Spanish catering business specialising in markets, private events and festivals. GUSTO prepares all sorts of Spanish recipes, from paella to churros, gazpacho, sangria and much more. Cordon bleu trained Head Chef Andrew Kai has worked with Marcus Wareing and at the double Rosette restaurant Daphne’s in London. He had stints at Jardine and The Roundhouse in Cape Town before starting GUSTO with Matthew Freemantle.

Las Paletas

Founded by Colombian born Diana Chavarro, Las Paletas (spanish for ice lollies), are hand made gourmet ice and cream lollies made in small batches from quality ingredients such as seasonal fruit, herbs and spices; that contain no artificial colorants or flavours. Our recipes are mixed variations on traditional ice cream, frozen yogurt and fresh fruit juice, inspired from exotic South American flavours with a bit of a British and South African twist. We thrive to surprise, indulge and satisfy our customers with our constantly changing flavours while proving that it really is never too cold for a lollie, one lick at a time…
